Why a consistent brand identity matters for fundraising
Think about the most successful fundraising campaigns you have seen โ whether that is a JustGiving page that went viral, a school expedition that raised thousands, or a charity appeal that appeared everywhere. They all have one thing in common: everything looks like it belongs together.
The same colours appear on their poster, their social media posts, their sponsorship letter, and their donation page. The same fonts. The same style of photography. This consistency is called brand identity, and it does something powerful: it makes your campaign look professional and trustworthy.
When a potential sponsor or donor sees your materials, they are making a split-second judgment about whether you are serious. A consistent, professional brand identity says "this person has put real effort in โ they are worth supporting." Inconsistent, mismatched materials say the opposite.
In this final lesson, you will pull together everything you have created in lessons 1โ4 into a complete brand kit that you can use across your entire campaign.
๐จ
Step 1: Define your brand colours and fonts
Before you start assembling your brand kit, you need to make two key decisions: your colour palette and your fonts.
๐จ
Choose 3 colours:
- Primary colour โ your main brand colour, used for headings, buttons, and key elements. Choose something that reflects your campaign's personality: navy blue for adventure, forest green for nature/environment, deep red for urgency, purple for creativity.
- Accent colour โ a brighter, complementary colour used for highlights and calls to action. This should contrast well with your primary colour.
- Neutral colour โ usually white, cream, or light grey, used for backgrounds and text areas.
Write down the exact hex codes (e.g. #1A1464) for each colour so you can use them consistently across all your materials.
๐ค
Choose 2 fonts:
- Heading font โ bold and distinctive, used for titles and key messages. Good free options: Montserrat Bold, Raleway ExtraBold, Oswald Bold.
- Body font โ clean and easy to read, used for descriptions and longer text. Good free options: Open Sans, Lato, Source Sans Pro.
You can find all of these free on Google Fonts.

Step 2: Assemble your visual assets
Gather everything you have created in this course into one folder on your computer:
๐ธAI-generated images (from Lesson 1) โ your best 3โ5 images that represent your campaign visually
๐ผ๏ธMockup images (from Lesson 2) โ your poster mockup, document mockup, and phone screen mockup
๐ฌVideo ad (from Lesson 3) โ your finished video ad ready to post on social media
๐ตMusic track (from Lesson 4) โ your royalty-free background music track as an MP3
Name the folder something clear like "[Your Name] Campaign Brand Kit" and keep it organised with subfolders for Images, Mockups, Video, and Audio.
๐
Step 3: Create your brand templates in Creative Fabrica Studio
Now use Creative Fabrica Studio's design editor to create 3 reusable templates using your brand colours, fonts, and images:
1
Instagram Post Template (1080ร1080px square)
- Use one of your AI-generated images as the background
- Add a semi-transparent overlay in your primary colour (about 50% opacity)
- Add your campaign name in your heading font at the top
- Add a short message or your fundraising goal in your body font
- Add your donation link or "Link in bio" text at the bottom
2
Instagram Story Template (1080ร1920px vertical)
- Use a different AI-generated image as the background
- Add a bold headline at the top ("Help me get there!" or "I'm raising ยฃ[X]")
- Add your progress bar or key stats in the middle
- Add a clear call to action at the bottom ("Swipe up" or "Link in bio")
3
Thank You Card Template (A5 or 1080ร1080px)
- A warm, personal design to send to donors after they give
- Use a softer, more emotional image from your collection
- Add "Thank you so much!" as the headline
- Leave a space for a personalised message
- Add your name and campaign details at the bottom
๐ฆ
Step 4: Export your complete brand kit
Once your templates are ready, export everything from Creative Fabrica Studio:
1Export all templates as PNG files (high quality, 300dpi for anything that might be printed)
2Export any poster or document designs as PDF files for printing
3Add everything to your brand kit folder alongside your AI images, mockups, video, and music
4Create a simple brand guide document (even just a Word or Google Doc) that lists your hex colour codes, font names, and a note about your campaign's visual style โ so you can stay consistent as your campaign grows
